TIER1 (GENERAL )类：( 申请费用750镑，目前只有寄签没有面签服务）

此类签证英国政府２００８年正式推出的计分制移民签证政策。　ＴＩＥＲ１（ＧＥＮＥＲＡＬ）是针对有高学历，高收入的申请人。TIER1 GENERAL 签证一签给与申请人3年签证，然后续签2年，3+2=5之后可以申请PR。　所谓计分制，就是通过评测申请人年龄，收入，学历，英国经验，语言程度和个人账户存款６大项目，给与不同级别的分数。　第一大部分是Attributes(属性分）。最低的要求是75分。这个75分总分可以分为4个部分（年龄，收入，学历，英国经验）获取。第二块是语言程度（English Language Assessment）分，需要10分。第三块是账户Maintenance(Funds),，同样需要10分。达到这三个部分分别75分，10分，10分，申请人就可以被ＨＯＭＥ　ＯＦＦＩＣＥ考虑授予此类签证了。

第一：Attributes属性分，分为4个部分内容。
（1）Qualifications(学位）。拿到以下UK学位的可以拿到相应的分数：
• PhD 50 points
• Masters 35 points
• Bachelors 30 points
学位必须是经过官方认证的大学授予的，并通过UK NARIC认证，可以通过home office官方网站上那个分数自评系统看出自己所在的大学是否为认证大学之列。 分数自评系统网页：http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/pointscalculator
签证要求材料文件：Original Certificate of Award: ( 学位证原件）。
（2）Previous Earnings: 在申请日之前的15个月内的连续12个月的税前收入（gross salary)。
在英国境内工作的话，Earnings Points available

£29,000 - £31,999 30 points
£26,000 - £28,999 25 points
£23,000 - £25,999 20 points
£20,000 - £22,999 15 points

签证要求材料文件：最少2种不同形式的收入证明。根据home office的要求，申请人必须出示２个不同的资金来源，并且资金需要对应, 这样才可以用于证明收入的合法性。　比如，payslips and bank statements(上面有显示这12个月收入）.
要求添加的材料：雇主的详细的和最新的联系方式，以便证实收入是否属实。如果bank statements和payslips上面所属公司名称不同，则需要雇主证明信证明这两个不同名称之间的关系。
（3）UK experience.
申请人可以通过在英国工作的Previous Earnings或者在英国拿的学位(The qualification should have been awarded no more than 5 years before making the application.)　二者只要有其一，就可以获得5分。
要求材料文件：如果工作是在英国，则无需任何材料，因为前面已经提供过了。如果是在英国拿的学位，则需要提供学校放面的原始证明。例如：学位证书
关于英国经验的５份如果申请人使用在英国读书作为申请依据，请确定毕业证是否清楚指出课程长度，是full－time还是part－time。　是否明确写出就读和毕业时间。　Home office　对于英国经验5分的要求是申请人就读的课程这个是至少1年学年或者3个连续的学期的full-time学习。这个学习历史必须是在你申请日期前5年之内。
（4）Age.
• Under 28 years of age: 20 points
• 28 or 29 years of age: 10 points
• 30 or 31 years of age: 5 points
要求材料文件：护照原件。

第二：English Language Assessment分（10分）
三种途径任何一种都可以拿到这10分。　国籍是英语国家　或通过英语测试，要是雅斯的话6.5分。或拿到英语教学的本科或者以上（即本科，研究生，博士）学位。
所需材料：Original degree certificate.( 学位或者毕业证明原件）
或者 英语测试成绩单。
关于英文要求：
只要申请人获得本科或者以上英国承认学位，不管是taught类还是research类，都拿直接拿到这个10分，而不需要任何的英语考试成绩。请参考home office的原话：Applicants may provide evidence that they hold a degree which is equivalent to United Kingdom Bachelor’s level or higher and which was taught or researched in English to a particular level as evidence of their English language ability.

第三：Maintenance(Funds) (10分）
最少800镑，必须要一直在申请前三个月内的银行帐户里，申请人要注意：提交申请之前的３个月内，每天账户中的余额都不可以小于８００英镑。　
所需材料：申请前三个月内官方正式Personal bank statements. should clearly show:
• the applicant’s name;
• the account number;
• the date of the statement;
• the financial institution’s name and logo;
• transactions covering the three month period;
• that there are sufficient funds present in the account
i.e. the balance must always be at least £800;
• the receipt of funds along with regular withdrawals from
the account, where appropriate.
UPDATEED:
In order to qualify for leave to remain under Tier 1 applicants must show that they have enough money to support themselves. The funds requirements are detailed below.
• Applicants outside the United Kingdom seeking entry clearance must have at least £2,800 of personal savings.
• Applicants in the United Kingdom seeking Further leave to remain must have at least £800 of personal savings.
